Good maps are time-consuming and difficult to do well. They often have to convey masses of information in a very small space. But when done right, the end user can benefit massively. So when the team at Arriva in the North East and Yorkshire approached us to redesign their network maps, we were up for the challenge. Working with simple clean lines, consistent typography and a clear hierarchy, over a few months, a new style network map was born that was unmistakenly Arriva.
